Where PVC ventilation ducting is commonly considered
PVC-coated fabric ducting is commonly used for portable fans, temporary air supply, construction work, tunnels and general industrial ventilation where the air temperature and environmental requirements are suitable. Its telescopic format can simplify transport and handling compared with rigid duct.
Check pressure direction and jobsite wear
Supply and extraction duty can need different seam, suspension and reinforcement choices. Also consider abrasion, moisture, contact with sharp edges, dust and repeated movement. A duct that is suitable for a short air-supply run may not be appropriate for a long suction route or hotter process air.
