Clip-On High Temperature Duct Construction: When It Is Considered
Understand the construction questions behind clip-on high-temperature flexible ducting for industrial heat and exhaust applications.

Construction matters at elevated temperature
A clip-on high-temperature duct can combine heat-resistant fabric layers with mechanical clip reinforcement. It is considered for demanding hot-air or exhaust duties where a general ventilation duct is unsuitable, but final selection depends on continuous and peak heat, pressure, gas chemistry, movement and installation condition.
Review the duty beyond a maximum temperature
The air or gas temperature is only one input. Radiant heat, surface contact, repeated flexing, vacuum, tight bends and exposure to particles or fumes can affect the required construction. Ask for the complete process conditions before comparing a clip-type duct with insulated fabric or metal alternatives.
Use a technical RFQ
For a high-temperature flexible duct RFQ, share equipment type, medium, continuous and peak temperature, exposure time, pressure, diameter, length, end connections and quantity. Confirm any required performance or certification statement against the exact product before release.
